The Yankees have the No. 26 overall pick in the 2024 MLB draft, which gets underway on July 14 during MLB All-Star weekend.

Cjintje will be one of the most talked about players leading up to this year's draft due to his unique switch-pitching ability, but he is far more than just a novelty. An 18th-round pick in the 2022 draft out of high school who is now a draft-eligible sophomore, he has a 3.67 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 113 strikeouts in 90.2 innings this spring. Most scouts prefer him right-handed, but he could give throwing both ways a legit try in pro ball.

After hitting .413 with 13 home runs and 63 RBI as a sophomore at Clemson, Amick has continued to impress while moving to the SEC after transferring to Tennessee. He is hitting .310/.394/.667 with 21 home runs and 60 RBI this spring, and he has played himself comfortably into the first-round conversation as a result.
