No other match will make the kind of history that Charlotte's defense of the Divas Championship against Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks will at WrestleMania.

The Showcase of the Immortals has largely ignored women throughout the years. Many of the cards haven't included a single women's match. And despite the Divas Championship being around since 2008, this will be only the second time that the title will be defended at the marquee event.

Last time around, the battle for the belt was a mess. The entire division collided in the Vickie Guerrero Divas Championship Invitational.

This time around, three top talents are set to get a prime spot on stage.

The narrative of this feud has been simple: Banks and Lynch are hungrily chasing the title. The former allies are now focused on proving that each is the best, that each deserves to reign as champion.

Each woman is representing both NXT and an entire gender. Aside from Mickie James vs. Trish Stratus at WrestleMania 22 and Wendi Richter vs. Leilani Kai at the very first WrestleMania, there has barely been a women's bout at The Show of Shows that has made much of an impact.

That is set to change.

There's a buzz surrounding this contest that we haven't seen before. Miami Herald writer Scott Fishman tweeted, "Can't remember when [I] was this excited about [a] women's match at #WrestleMania. Becky, Sasha and Charlotte has potential to be really good."

Fishman may be underselling it here. We have seen these women produce great matches, and now that they are getting to ply their trades on wrestling's biggest stage in a match that could redefine the role of women in WWE, we should all expect something tremendous.
