Personal Statement
My name is Will Gunther I'm a 5'10.5, 180.1 JC WR with a 330 bench and a 4.55 40. I currently (as of 2/7/19) hold several offers including 1 D1 scholarship. I have a partial scholarship to FCS Wagner College in NY, as well as a preferred walk-on to FCS BCU and several small school offers. I am looking for an institution and program that is ethical, centered in their faith, hard working, and competitive. I am someone who takes my faith very seriously so if I could attend a Christian school that would be a big thing to me. Three other major points of emphasis to me are PLAYTIME , SCHOOL SUPPORT (HOME GAME ATTENDANCE/CONSTANT ADMIN AND FAN SUPPORT), and TEAM ATMOSPHERE. There is a difference between a team atmosphere where the coaches want me to succeed and will do anything in their power to succeed (athletically and academically), and coaches who aren't gonna care. I promise to give MY ALL for whatever school that signs me. By signing me, you are getting more than just a football player but a CAPTAIN, a MAN, a loyal servant of God, friend, son, brother and someone you can always count on...No matter what. By bringing me into your program you are bringing someone who doesn't only want to be on your team but I'm someone who wants to be a part of your football family FOR LIFE.
