Tate has been under a lot of scrutiny for his views on women and their role in society. This arrest, for many, is a proof of the kind of misogyny and toxic masculinity he tries to advocate. However, Tate had tried to explain the charges against him previously but was not cleared of them.

What is human trafficking?

The primary case registered against Tate is that of human trafficking. For the unversed, human trafficking is buying and selling of humans for forced labor, sexual slavery, or commercial sexual exploitation.

For the now, the four suspects including Tate and his brother are arrested and will stay in custody for 24 hours.
