Personal Statement
I believe I will be a good candidate for your team because of my core values that have been instilled in me by my parents at a young age. Hard work and determination, this is what motivates me to go the extra mile to get better grades, to spend extra work on the field and in the weight room.
Pain is temporary, pride is forever. I remember seeing this on the wrestling room wall. This motto is at the center of my beliefs. It has taught me to fight through the pain and overcome adversity in my academics, athletics, and in life.
