Wilson Battling Injuries in Slow Start to 2016 Season

Wilson, 27, went down in the third quarter. He threw for 243 yards on 15-of-23 passing before Trevone Boykin replaced him under center.

Wilson previously suffered an ankle injury during Week 1's win over the Miami Dolphins. He managed to play through the injury and has remained one of the NFL's most productive quarterbacks in his fifth season.

After Week 3, Wilson has thrown for 755 yards and two touchdowns against one interception.

Boykin should suddenly ascend to the top spot on the depth chart if Wilson misses more playing time this season. The 23-year-old rookie was undrafted out of TCU but earned the backup job with an impressive preseason. The Seahawks eschewed all veterans in favor of keeping the cheap, younger option behind Wilson.
