Numerous playoff games have been played in freezing temperatures and wind chills before.

Per ABC News, the 1967 NFL Championship Game between the Green Bay Packers and Dallas Cowboys featured a temperature of negative-13 degrees (negative-41 degree wind chill). The 1981 AFC Championship Game between the visiting San Diego Chargers and host Cincinnati Bengals featured a wind chill of negative-59.

More recently, the 2007 NFC Championship Game (New York Giants at Packers) had negative-1 degree temperatures and a negative-32 wind chill.

At it stands, the Chiefs-Dolphins matchup may well find itself on the list of the coldest games ever played.
