The Baltimore Ravens will be without star safety Kyle Hamilton for the immediate future as they continue to prepare for the 2024 season because of elbow surgery, but he should be back in plenty of time before the start of the campaign.
"Kyle will be ready," head coach John Harbaugh told reporters Tuesday. "Kyle had some loose bodies in his elbow that they went ahead and just plucked out. So, it's a two-to-three week deal."

Not only will Hamilton be ready by the season, Harbaugh said the plan is for the safety to be ready by training camp.
That it is only a minor setback for the 23-year-old is welcome news for the Ravens.
After all, he is coming off a dominant season that saw him named to the First Team All-Pro and Pro Bowl with 81 tackles, 13 passes defended, four interceptions, three sacks, one forced fumble and one defensive touchdown.
It was just the second season of his career, but he already proved himself as one of the best safeties in the league and a defensive leader for a Super Bowl contender in the Ravens. Baltimore finished with the best record in the NFL at 13-4 last season and reached the AFC Championship Game.
The team surely expects to take the next step and reach the Super Bowl during the upcoming campaign, and that will require a healthy Hamilton spearheading the defensive effort from the middle of the secondary.
Fortunately for the Ravens and the safety, it doesn't seem like this particular setback will be an issue by the time they take the field for the season opener for an AFC Championship Game rematch against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sept. 5.
