Personal Statement
Strong dedication, ambition, self-discipline, and a competitive nature are what I consider to be my strengths. My parents have been great role models for me and helped me to understand at an early age that through hard work, positive thinking, and discipline much can be accomplished in life. I have taken that strong work ethic and applied it to my school work and play on the softball field. I have learned the value and benefits of hard work on and off the field and will showcase this attitude throughout my college career and beyond. I fell in love with softball when my parents put my first glove on my hand for t-ball when I was four years old. With each coming season I develop a deeper love for the game and continue to refine and sharpen my skills on the field of play. As a college softball player, I will bring my hard-nose style of play, my optimistic outlook, and ability to be a strong leader to my team. I understand the importance of sacrificing social activity for my education and sports. I am a responsible individual that prepares for both school and softball. My future ambitions are to get a superior college education to prepare myself for life while making life-long memories in softball playing with a close knit team.
