I am a baseball catcher from San Diego, CA. My secondary positions are second and third base. I have played for my high school varsity baseball team starting from my sophomore year. I have maintained a GPA of 3.5 and above throughout my high school career. As I prepare for college, one of my biggest goals is to obtain a baseball and academic scholarship. I wish to work my way towards a Bachelor’s degree and eventually a Master's degree in Physical Therapy. I am interested in this field of study because it amazes me how intricate human anatomy can be, as well as learning the strengths and weaknesses of our bodies. Traits that would qualify me as a beneficial part of the team would include my perseverance and my ability to communicate with my pitchers during a ball game. I consider myself unique from other recruits because of my characteristics, athletics, and academics. For example, one of my traits is my ability to stay humble throughout success, as well as respectful when working with various coaches and teammates. I have played baseball every year since I was four years old through little league, pony, club, and high school baseball. I achieved one of my childhood goals, which was to play and succeed in the Little League World Series in 2013. In the academic department, I have great work ethic, as I have been able to continuously keep up with my grades while playing baseball year round. I also give back to my community as a volunteer umpire for our local little league.
