The 2024 NBA playoffs aren't the only tournament Dallas Mavericks guard Luka Dončić is keeping an eye on.

Dončić and fellow NBA star Joel Embiid of the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday celebrated Real Madrid's 2-0 Champions League final win over Borussia Dortmund:

Luka Doncic @luka7doncic

HALA MADRID Y NADA MAS!!!!

Joel Embiid @JoelEmbiid

HALA MADRID!!!!!!!

Real Madrid's win comes the day after the club congratulated Dončić on the Mavericks' 124-103 Game 5 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves, which sent the team to the NBA Finals:

Real Madrid C.F. 🇬🇧🇺🇸 @realmadriden

Congratulations, @luka7doncic! All of the #Madridistas are proud of you and your magic which has taken the @dallasmavs to the @NBA Finals, your first #NBAFinals. We will follow you and support you in your new challenge.

After holding off an early push from Dortmund, Real Madrid earned the club's 15th Champions League title thanks to late goals from Dani Carvajal and Vinícius Júnior.

Embiid was watching the victory from Wembley Stadium in London, where he joined CBS Sports' UCL Today prior to the match:

Dončić may have been preparing for Game 1 against the Boston Celtics, but he was doubtlessly watching from the States. The Mavericks star has been connected with the team since he played for Real Madrid's basketball club from 2015 to 2018.

Next it will be Real Madrid fans' turn to tune into the NBA Finals, which begin Thursday in Boston at 8:30 p.m. ET.
