Personal Statement
My name is Lya Abel; I'm a junior at Paso Robles High School. I plan to major in forensic science, and minor in clinical psychology and counseling. I am also thinking about going to college to be a Sports Med Physician The reason for this statement is to show my desire and interest in playing softball at the next level. Softball has already helped me meet great coaches, and players who encourage me everyday. My ultimate goal is to play softball at the collegiate level. I know academics are the most important thing during college, but I also believe to make a strong team you need to form essential bonds, teamwork, good character, and have goals. Throughout my high school career I am going to push myself with difficult classes. For example as a freshman my schedule included Algebra 2, Honors Biology, and Honors English. I enjoy the challenge of these classes. I also enjoy pushing myself, which is why softball is a great sport for me. I was once told if softball was easy, everyone would play it.
