LeBron James couldn't overcome an inefficient shooting night as the Los Angeles Lakers lost to the Phoenix Suns by the final score of 127-109 on Thursday.

James finished with 10 points and nine assists in only 24 minutes, although he connected on just three of his 11 field goal attempts. The 19-time All-Star also missed all four of his shots from behind the arc.

The Lakers committed 17 turnovers while recording nine fewer rebounds as a team compared to the Suns. Anthony Davis shot an efficient 55 percent from the field, although he racked up a mere 13 points in 32 minutes of action. Los Angeles has now lost 10 of its past 14 games, as fans pointed out the team's continued struggles.

The Lakers lose to the Suns, 127-109, to fall to 19-20. There are some boos from the home crowd as the game comes to an end. LAL goes to UTA to play one of the hottest teams in the league in the Jazz on Saturday.

Kinda just feels like the Lakers have no plan on either end of the floor tonight.

Lakers getting absolutely embarrassed at home by the Suns. Thankfully, Darvin Ham pointed out that the NBA season is a marathon and that Lakers fans shouldn't be living and dying with every game. All good even though the Lakers are going to be under .500 midway through the season

This Lakers team just doesn't have anything they're good at. No identity either. 40 games in

The Suns were able to snap a brief two-game losing streak with the victory, as the team's trio of former All-Stars dominated on both ends of the court. Durant finished with 18 points on 7-12 shooting, picking up three steals and dishing out five assists compared to just one turnover.

Beal scored a season-high 37 points on just 21 shot attempts, pulling down six rebounds and recording four assists in his 32 minutes of action. 26 of his points came in the second half alone, ending Los Angeles' hopes of a comeback.
