Personal Statement
~~I started playing football during my elementary school days, and then moved on to middle school football in 7th and 8th grade, JV as a freshman and Varsity as a sophomore and junior. During my junior year I was named Captain of the team, one of four players chosen and the only junior. I am a leader on the team, leading both by example and in the huddle, playing both defensive back and wide receiver, as well as return punts and kick-offs.
I possess both speed and quickness and am able to focus on the full field. I am dedicated to the team, and understand the need to put the team first ahead of individual goals. I display the same dedication in my studies, as I am currently on the honor role. I also work within my community, in particular with our local CYO, where I have coached at camps for younger players.
I currently Wrestle for the Varsity High School team, where I am a two year captain and play for the Varsity Baseball team. I also swim for a local club team during the winter.
I look forward to continuing my academic and football career in college, and believe I will be an asset to any program.
