Jules Rodriguez is the founder of a successful eco-friendly, e-commerce store—Buildtoblossom. She is also a major influencer and content creator that is known for her fun and uplifting vibes.

Jules has a passion for entrepreneurship and also has the desire to promote eco-friendly options. With the rise of Amazon, she saw that there was a real need for an online marketplace that only sold eco-friendly and sustainable products.

While there were celebrities, in particular, who started and had “eco-friendly” stores, Jules realized that they often sold poor quality products and used materials that can be harmful to individuals as well as the environment.

So, she made it her mission to start her own eco-friendly store that only sold safe and quality products. But, she also wanted to do it right and knew that content creation and the media can be great advocacy and advertising tool. Lacking experience in that area, she decided to get a degree in media. 

After graduating, while she had the needed knowledge, she realized that knowledge is only part of the solution and that she also needed experience. So, she decided to get a corporate job for a couple of years so that she could learn the ins and outs of the whole e-commerce process.

Once she had mastered her craft, she knew it was finally time to start her e-commerce store. She named the store Buildtoblossom and launched an eco-friendly swimsuit line and an organic luxury skincare line at affordable prices.

This earned her an enormous number of positive reviews. She went on to launch an activewear line with unique designs for both men and women. During this time, she was using her media skills to successfully launch ad campaigns and even won the 2019 OMMA Award for Best Advertising Campaign Chicos.

Her brand—Buildtoblossom—will soon be featured in Haute Living as well as the 2023 Grammy Awards celebrity gift bags.

Today, Buildtoblossom is an all-inclusive eco-friendly, lifestyle store that covers home and decor; beauty and wellness; lifestyle and spirituality; clothing and accessories; and even pet products. In other words, the store has become a convenient “one-stop-shop” for eco-friendly and sustainable products. 

Always pursuing her passions, she is also a real estate investor and interior designer. She loves to transform old and outdated places into chic modern luxury spaces.

At the same time, she is a major influencer with over 200k followers on Instagram and over 65k followers on TikTok where she is known to perform funny couple skits. She radiates an uplifting spirit and wants to produce in others that same vibe.

On top of all that, she has a passion for traveling and gaining new experiences. Her travel blog recounts her trips to places such as Thailand, South Africa, Croatia, and more. 

She makes a point to visit animal sanctuaries such as the Care for Wild Rhino Sanctuary in South Africa where she had an opportunity to learn about the sanctuary’s mission and share it with others.

But, while she has seen a lot of success, like all entrepreneurs, she had her fair share of challenges to overcome.

One of the biggest challenges she had to face was competing with Amazon as well as convincing others to switch to a sustainable marketplace. 

She was able to overcome this hurdle by partnering with quality eco-friendly brands as well as launching her own brand of eco-friendly products.

Ultimately, it was by creating a unique style and brand that she was able to build a loyal customer base. Even her blog, which is featured on the Buildtoblossom site, illustrates and promotes an eco-friendly lifestyle.

For others who want to follow in Jules’ footsteps and become an influencer, she explains: “Everything seems easier on the outside. Being an influencer/content creator is not an easy job. There is a lot of work that goes behind it and you have to be able to easily accept rejection and criticism.” 

She went on the say that people tend to only see the perks of being an influencer and not all the work that goes into it. So, it is important to realize that there is a ton of work that goes into becoming an influencer.

As for the e-commerce industry, she explains that it is very competitive and that if you want to succeed, you have to be willing to work for it. Doing intense research and maybe even working in the industry first will give you the needed knowledge to launch an e-commerce store.

In the future, Jules sees herself expanding her store to more countries. She is already in Germany, Australia, the UK, and France. 

She also hopes to be recognized as a designer and maybe even get her own reality TV show.

All in all, Jules Rodriguez’s passion combined with years of hard work has resulted in her becoming a major influencer and having a successful e-commerce store and brand.
