Personal Statement

Freshmen.(2010 season)I am a very dedicated player, I stay after practice and weight training days to get in some extra hard work. I do anything Ipossibly can to make myself a better player not only for me, but for my team. I played an excessive amount this year as a freshmen and did anything I could to help my team achieve a big victory. I am 5'10,180lbs as a freshmen runningback. The weight room is like my second home. my benchpress max currently is 380lbs, my squat max is currently 485lbs, and powerclean currently 260 pounds. I also recently have been timed at a 4.5 40 yard dash. Great competitor, I also try to be as good of a leader as I can be. The most important part of football is making sure you can understand everything. That leads to your dedication in the classroom. That is the most important thing about being a student-athlete. I have been on the honor roll this year and will maintain this achievment.I am still uncecided on what I will be majoring in my college career.

Sophomore.(2011 season) Adding on to my previous season as a freshmen, I have improved on everything I can possibly improve on, and I intend on continuing to improve on everything and getting better not only as a player, but as a team-mate, a leader, and an inspirational worker. Following this 2011 football season, my team and I accomplished a perfect 10-0 regular season, setting team records and accomplishing many things that people told us we wouldn't be able to do. Individually, I have managed to grow physically and mentally. I am now 5'10 and weighing at 186 pounds. My work ethic in the classroom and weight room has only improved. Still managing to be an Honor roll material student-athlete, my GPA consist of a 3.3 and above range. I will not accept anything less than a 3.5 from here on out through my career. My weight room statistics have been opening eyes for a while now, but I intend on improving them just as much as anything else. My bench-press is currently 405 pounds, my squat max is currently 520 pounds, my powerclean is currently 300 pounds. My 40 yard dash timing has also improved being recently a 4.5, it is now a 4.4. I have many more goals set to reach and I can't explain enough how hard I am going to work to reach them. Failure is not an option and I won't accept defeat. Come this Fall for the 2012 football season, I plan on being an eye opening type player. Thank you for taking the time to read my information, and God Bless.
