Personal Statement
A dream of mine has always been to play college baseball. I along with many others have been playing since little league. Although I am very passionate about baseball, I am also very active in other sports at my school. In addition to baseball, I have been fortunate enough to be involved in football, basketball, and track. Along with playing four sports, I am also a member of the National Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and involved in my school’s choir, fall play, and musical programs throughout the year. My faith and hard work ethic have allowed me to do all of these activities along with maintaining a 4.00 GPA. Being able to participate in this variety of activities has given me insight to many different coaching styles. With that being said, I am a very disciplined, obedient, and team oriented player. From my involvement in school, I have learned how to be a leader in different atmospheres. Along with leadership skills, I have also learned how to take instruction from others. I am always looking to improve my skills in any thing that I do. Baseball is a sport that I have loved since being a little kid, and I am working every day to become a better ball player. My goal is to find a college that will allow me to excel academically and to find teammates that are as able and willing to learn as I am.
