Personal Statement
Coaches, my name is Jacob Ribble and I am currently a junior at Glenwood High School in Chatham, Illinois. I am a starter for most games and I have played soccer ever since I could walk. My main position is outside back and I have been playing this position for many years and i have substituted for other positions as well. My coaches have played me in both the right and left side back. My club team that I play on is the Springfield Illinois Soccer Association (SASA). I am a starter at SASA and have played for them about 8 years and have played above my age group the past couple of years. I have always played on competitive teams.
I am a good leader and a team player on and off the field. I focus on the whole team and not just myself. I am a very coachable player and like to be told better ways to improve myself. Both my teams lifts 3 times a week and focus on conditioning and footwork and playing as a team. Outside of the teams I have a personal trainer that helps with my muscle flexibility, speed and agility as well us weight lifting.
I am open to all colleges from Division 1 to NAIA. My goal is to find the right college that fits me well for my academics, as well as my Athletics. I would like to major in the medical field.
