Since the death of the musician and comedian, questions regarding how did Juca Chaves Morreu die are circulating on social media.

Chaves was a well-known musician and comedian. He was admitted to the Bahia-based Sao Rafael Hospital, where he died on Saturday at night in Salvador. 

According to the hospital, he was admitted for 15 days and died due to breathing problems. His death has not been extensively discussed by the family.

He had respiratory issues, which caused him to have trouble breathing. He failed to make it out alive. 

The hospital revealed that they couldn’t provide more personal information about themselves since their family hadn’t given them permission. 

His obituary is scheduled at the Bosque Da Paz Cemetery on Sunday at 2:30 pm. The body will be cremated at 4.00 pm. 

Life overview of Juca Chaves 

Juca Chaves, also known by his real name, Jurandyr Czaczker, was the son of Austrian Jewish immigrants and was born on October 22, 1936, in Radio de Janeiro. 

He started writing music as a child and has training in classical music.

He started out as a professional musician in the late 1950s, softly playing modinhas and troves. He built up a circus in the 1960s next to the Cantagalo Court and Rodrigo de Freitas. He performed his play “Menestrel Maldito” there.

During the administration of Emilo Garrastazu Medici in 1970, Chaves was forced into exile in Portugal. 

Nevertheless, he felt driven to relocate to Italy when his parody of the fascist government that was in place at the time started to become popular on television and radio.

Following his return to Brazil, Chaves began a career as a television host. In the 1980s, he later founded Struws Records, an independent record company. 

He worked on various projects throughout his career, garnering significant accomplishments and a large fan base. 

Later, he announced his candidature for senator in Bahia under the banner of the Christian Social Democratic Party. He finished in fourth place with 19,603 votes (0.35% of the total).

He also attempted to become a federal deputy in 2010, but he was not successful. Sources revealed that Chaves Morreu lived in Bahria with his wife, who was known as Yara Caves, before his death. 

Together the couple shared two adoptive daughters, Maria Morena and Maric Clara.
