Personal Statement

My high school football career has come to an end. I have enjoyed putting on my Red Devil uniform and learned about football, belonging to a team, hard work, dedication, hardships, and the man I want to become. I am eager and ready to play football at the collegiate level. Whatever obstacle stands in my way, I will strive to overcome it. I have been the smallest player on the field since 3rd grade, but my heart, determination, and dedication makes up for my small stature. I arrive to every practice and game ready to perform for the name on the front of the jersey, not the back. I try to perform in the classroom with the same mentality as the field, both in high school and college classes. I have been apart of my school's early college high school program since freshman year, with good results. I will have over 60 hours of college credit and two associate's degrees when I graduate from high school! I am planning to pursue a major in Kinesiology with a minor in history to become a coach/history teacher. I have been a student of the game of football since Kindergarten. I pride myself in knowing facts about every formation and position, so I am prepared to take in whatever a team might teach me. I am God and family first. I will do anything to serve God and to make my family proud. I often succeed in whatever I put my mind into. One of the best compliments my coaches have given me is that I am a team player and always coachable. I am looking forward to continuing my football career.
