Personal Statement
I am a versatile midfielder - defensive, attacking and left wing. My strengths are ball control, field awareness, precise passing and recovering the ball for my team. I am always looking for opportunities to assist or make a goal shot.
My game has been shaped by club futsal from the age of 4, playing with a local Mexican league at one time, and my consistent participation in club youth soccer since age 7. I've always pushed myself to reach the highest performing teams for my age group because that's the level of challenge and discipline that I enjoy the most.
I put a lot of effort into my training and follow my coach's guidance on areas to improve. Outside team practice I am dedicated to consistent weight training and mobility/physical therapy in order to build strength, rehab and prevent injuries.
Last summer (July 2023), our team lost in the finals at the NPL National Tournament, which was disappointing, and also a moment that our team handled well.
I am always going to contribute to a supportive team culture even when things don't go the way we want, and that’s the type of team I want to be on.
My goal is to play soccer at the most competitive level possible, while also getting an excellent education in the math/finance/economics and/or engineering fields.
I am well aware of the challenges and discipline that is required to play at this level while also excelling academically, and I have the drive and the passion for it.
