My Lacrosse life:

Hi, thanks for visiting my web page. My name is Andrew Caliri, but i like to go by Drew. I started playing lacrosse in the Lexington Youth Lacrosse program when I was 7 years old and played on the Lexington Select teams for 4 years as a U13 and U15. My club team is Boston Laxachusetts as one of their 2020 midfielders. This past spring (2017), as a Freshman I played for Lexington High School on their Junior Varsity team as a starting midfielder, I also played up to Varsity in one game.

My stats for the 2017 Lexington High School season:

As the team's leading scorer I was awarded the "Hunger" award, given to the player with both the most goals and most points.

Junior Varsity:    21 Goals  -  7 Assists

Varsity:                1 Goal

Total Points:        29

Before Laxachusetts I played for the East Coast Wizards and for NESLL (New England Select Lacrosse League) in the prior 4 years. I started playing lacrosse as an attackman but I change to the midfielder position 4 years ago. I like the midfielder position more because I get more time with the ball and I have a very hard and fast shot (80 mph) from the top of the box. I also played as a midfielder on both Lexington U15 teams, both select and regular.

School life:

I do pretty well in school. I have a GPA of 3.0 after the 3rd. quarter of my freshman year. My favorite subjects are science, engineering and design, and history. I was diagnosed with dyslexia in the 3rd. grade (with and IEP) and I have gotten extra help ever since then. I sometimes still have difficulty reading and spelling but I have come a long way, have made a lot of progress and have enjoyed working on it.
