Personal Statement
My name is Daniel Hull. I am a 5'10 Punter and Kicker from Columbia, Missouri. I have always had a fighting spirit, and a passion to find a way to do the things I love. As a freshman, I was told I can't play football because my parents were worried about injuries, so, I used every day of that year to go outside and teach myself how to kick, since I wouldn't get injured at that position. I was allowed to play after my parents saw my enthusiasm and passion for the game, and I continue to get better to this day. I am always striving to be the best version of myself, and I will work as hard as possible to achieve the goals I want. From all the hard work I have put into the sport, I have earned the spot of 9th best in the Country, and I am still working every day to try and move up on the ladder. I am working very hard to make it onto a college roster, since it has always been a dream of mine to play sports in college. While I focus much of my time on athletics, I do not take effort off school, as I am very proud of having a 3.6 GPA into my junior year. I am very focused on being successful in my future, even if it means that I have to do different things in order to succeed, and I will never quit once I find something that I am passionate about, I will always find ways to make myself and those around me better.
