Carvajal Timeline Revealed

Tuesday, Dec. 1

Spanish outlet Marca reported Carvajal would be out for a month.

"Following the tests carried out on Carvajal today in the Sanitas La Moraleja University Hospital, the player has been diagnosed with a muscle injury on his left thigh. His condition will be evaluated," noted Los Blancos.

Injury Provides Danilo Chance

Carvajal has been sharing right-back duties with Danilo this season, making six starts in La Liga and three in the Champions League, per WhoScored.com.

Often an undervalued member of the squad, Carvajal perhaps doesn't receive the recognition he deserves. Danilo is a flashier option but is yet to consistently impress in Real colours.
