The movie Creed III was a resounding success at the box office. A few weeks after its premiere, SCP Auctions decided to auction off the gloves used by Michael B. Jordan in the movie.
This means that the highest bidder will get the gloves of one of the most watched fights this year, which is part of a trilogy linked to Rocky Balboa.
The auction ends on Saturday, and on Thursday afternoon there was a bid of $2,500. The gloves were used in the movie which grossed about $156 million nationally and $116 million internationally, for a total of $272.1 million worldwide, according to box office figures.
Canelo Alvarez's feature film debut
The film tells the story of Adonis' childhood friend, Damian "Diamond Dame" Anderson, who Adonis Creed faces for the world title.
Fans also saw boxing legend Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez make his acting debut. He appears playing himself as an assistant to the fight between Felix Sanchez and Anderson.
