Personal Statement
My name is Christian Holland I am 6'0 220 pounds. I run a 4.7 40, I have a 4.2 shuttle, and I have a 38 inch vertical. I am currently on the honor roll right now with a 3.2 GPA and a 2.7 cumulative. I have been studying, learning, and playing football since I was 5 years old. Throughout my football career, I have played on several nationally ranked pop warner teams and for as long as I can remember, playing at the collegiate level has always been my dream and I have been doing my best to achieve that goal. I started my freshman and sophomore year on offense as a receiver, on special teams as a kick/punt returner, and on defense at free safety, but since my freshman year, due to a strict diet, hard work ethic in the weight room, maturation, good family values, and excellent coaching, I have gained 20 pounds every year, and I have developed into a phenomenal outside linebacker, where I am most effective to my team. I finished my final high school football season with 107 tackles,1 interception and 2 sacks, more than doubling the amount of tackles I had last season where I was honored with the Most Improved Player award on my team. I also had the privilege to be a major contributor to an undefeated season and a State/National championship. I am hard hitting educated player on the field and I am very easily coached. I play on a defense where it is mandatory to know and do your assignment at all times so I am very disciplined on the field. I also work very hard off the field because I know it shows on the field. I have a 285 bench, a 485 squat, a 285 incline, and a 265 power clean. I am a player who loves the game of football and has a strong desire to win. I am open to any college that is interested in me. Some of my goals include: showcasing my talent at the next level while furthering my education, and to become chiropractor.
