Personal Statement

I am a focused athlete working hard to play women's basketball at a high level. Both my parents were scholarship Division 1 student-athletes at the University of Minnesota, so I give them some credit for my intense and very healthy compete-gene.

My coaches will tell you that I am very coachable and never doubt my effort and heart. Compliments from coaches include: warrior, pitbull, motor that doesn’t stop, gritty floor general.

My teammates will tell you I am a team-first player and I LOVE to compete! I play with a warrior-like attitude on the court.

I will tell you I am a coachable, fast and feisty point guard who can facilitate and make good decisions. I am a quick, strong and relentless defender, especially on-ball defense. I also try to be the most supportive and encouraging teammate on the court and from the bench. I love this sport.  

I am a kind and outgoing kid with a lot of friends in different areas of my life. I am grateful for people’s strengths and differences, which I think helps make me a natural leader. I believe strongly that when teams have strong bonds and culture, they achieve their most success.
