Personal Statement
My main goal is to play basketball at the collegiate level. I am a good teammate to have, because I have a very competitive personality and I can be counted on to work hard. What makes me different from other players is that I never blame anyone but myself for a bad play, which makes me work even harder to correct myself. I have a strong desire to get better. Outside of Basketball, I also have played 3 years of Varsity Golf. My high school cumulative GPA is 3.72 and I have taken 7 honors courses and 2 AP courses, and for my senior year I am enrolled in 1 honors class, 1 concurrent enrollment class, and 2 AP classes. I am very interested in Spanish, and I am proficient speaking it. I plan to take Spanish in college and become fluent. For my Senior year, I have decided to take on a student body leadership role in becoming a Student Ambassador. In my free time, I have enjoyed going to the gym, coaching my younger brothers basketball team, and spending time with my friends.
