Personal Statement

As of September 3, 2020, I verbally committed to Shippensburg University.  My goal in life is to become a physicians’ assistant or a nurse practitioner.  My passion of biology is a strong as my passion of field hockey, cross country & track and field.  I am always striving to be more than I was in the past both in my studies and in my athletic ability.  I am a very dedicated, disciplined and coachable athlete.  In field hockey, I like the mid-fielder position but I also love defense and forward.  I am a very versatile athlete and can play any position at any given moment.  I am looking forward to being back with practicing and playing with my X-Calibur field hockey team for my last year in high school.  I consider myself an upbeat person and I am always pursuing to keep the team positive in practices and in games.  In cross country, my freshman year, I went to the state finals.  I ran a personal best of 21:07!  I also love participating in Spring track.  I have set several school records at my middle school and at the high school level, I anticipate setting more records for my school and for my team. I am continuing my senior year at Conrad Weiser Area School District taking STATS, Physics, Spanish 4 and Science Research.  This Fall, I will also be running for our cross country team hoping to make it to States!  I will continue my studies on concussions during my Science Research class in my Senior Year.  I am looking forward to my senior year of studies and team sports, and at the end, close a chapter and begin an awesome new one!
