Meanwhile, West Jakarta will see its turn for a partly cloudy sky in the evening while the rest of Jakarta remains sunny. The temperature ranges from 24 to 35 degrees Celsius with a humidity level of 50 to 85 percent.
The hot and sunny weather is also forecasted for Tangerang, Serpong (South Tangerang), and Tigaraksa (Tangerang Regency). The temperature will range from 24 to 35 degrees Celsius with an air humidity level of 50 to 90 percent.
Meanwhile, BMKG forecasted rain to pour over Bogor City and Cibinong (Bogor Regency) from the afternoon to the evening. Meanwhile, rain in Depok will be limited to the afternoon. The temperature ranges from 22 to 34 degrees Celsius with an air humidity level of 40 to 90 percent.
Bekasi City and Bekasi Regency will see partly cloudy skies all day with significantly hot weather, surpassing 37 degrees Celsius. The air humidity level for both regions is 45 to 85 percent.
BMKG has predicted the piercing hot weather to last throughout October in parts of Indonesia, including Greater Jakarta. According to BMKG, the hot weather is caused by the lack of cloud development in the atmosphere, allowing the light from the sun to reach the Earth without a significant buffer.
The agency has urged the public to maintain their stamina and stay hydrated, especially for those doing outdoor activities to avoid dehydration and other negative impacts on health.
