Personal Statement
My dream is to be a professional soccer player. Since seeing Michael Owen score the winning goal in the FA cup final in 2001 against Arsenal I became a Liverpool fan and fell in love the game and Liverpool. I always wanted to score goals and from first playing for Harvesters FC in England as 7 year old have have scored goals. I have scored over 400 goals since playing competitively in England. I moved to the USA in 2005 when I was 10 and have played for Everton America, Eastern FC and my High School. I love soccer and sport in general and am desperate to have a career in soccer. My goal is to play soccer in college, get a good college education and then play professionally. I am determined to make it and am working very hard to achieve my dreams. I graduated Darien High School (ranked no. 1 high school in Ct) in 2013 in 2013. I have physically developed late but I am now working with a personal trainer to build my strength and gain muscle mass. Each year at High School I have worked harder and my grades have improved every year. I have the determination to be a success and have total confidence that I will. I have decided to take a PG year at South Kent Prep school in Ct which ranked in the top 10 prep schools in the country for soccer. This will allow me to mature physically, improve my academic standing and take some college courses and become an even better soccer player. South Kent were the New England Soccer Champions in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 and and are coached by Owen Finberg.
