Personal Statement

As a soccer player, I am best at making plays happen. I played center forward through most of my soccer career because I do score goals, but most recently I was moved to the 10 position because I am unselfish. I am constantly looking for a pass that will bring on the attack, but of course if it is not there, I am more than capable of taking the ball to the goal myself. My preferred way to play is keeping possession until that dribbling or penetrating pass opportunity opens up. One of my biggest strengths is being able to recognize a run in which I can make a pass that will lead them to goal.

As a student, I have been placed in honors classes beginning with my 8th grade year when I took freshman Algebra at Bishop Miege High School. I have developed organizational skills and efficiencies due to taking such challenging courses while being involved in multiple, extracurricular activities such as piano, band, basketball, officiating soccer, and cross country. I am always looking to take the harder class to push myself. I have a 4.2 grade average and am on the Bishop Miege Honor Role.
