Personal Statement
To whom it my concern, My name is Alex Mayes and I will be a Senior in the fall of 2012. I will graduate from Van Alstyne High School in 2013. I am 6'6" and 285lbs. My academics and athletics test score are posted on my ncsasports.org website. I have a 3.5 GPA, run a 5.05 40 yard dash, Bench Press 315lbs, and squat 495lbs and Incline 275lbs. I play Varsity Football, JV Basketball and Varsity Track (Shotput and Discus). I also lettered as a freshman and Sophmore on my Varsity football Team. The team went 10-0 and won the District 10-3A 2009 Championship. Personally, I enjoy playing guitar in my spare time. I have been studying guitar and taking lessons for 3 years now. I play all types of music, but classic rock is what I really love. I would like to continue playing football at the collegiate level after High School. I have the desire to work hard on my grades and my athletic training to give me the best opportunity. Currently, I think I would like to study Kinesiology and work as a Physical Therapist or Athletic Trainer. I feel that it would really be great to continue working with athletes after college, maybe even having my own training center. It is an honor to have you review my profile.
