For four years, fans have watched The Bloodline dominate WWE while preserving the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship reign of its Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns.

The overarching storyline has been one of the greatest in WWE history and has produced unforgettable moments while simultaneously elevating the stock of all involved.

It will come to an end on April 6-7 in Philadelphia, though.

Cody Rhodes has recruited Seth Rollins and Jey Uso in combatting Reigns and Co., two Superstars with unfinished business with The Head of the Table and his stable.

It is a story straight out of the Marvel Universe, with The American Nightmare assembling a team of individuals to combat the greatest threat to WWE.

With Uso slated to fight his brother, Jimmy, and Rollins joining forces with Rhodes to square off with Reigns and The Rock, the stage will be set for the two-time men's Royal Rumble winner to battle The Tribal Chief one-on-one and end his run atop the company.

Should Reigns be relieved of the gold, it would create dissension within the family, with Rock questioning whether he is the right choice for The Tribal Chief or if The Great One should assume that role himself.

There is money in maintaining the status quo, as evidenced by the unprecedented success the company has enjoyed since the storyline's start.

However, there is equally as much to be made from watching the downfall of a once-proud empire and the many different threads that come out of it. At this point in the story, that is the more intriguing option.
